Rehearsals have started and are every week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (7.30 – 9.30pm). Venues may vary but generally will be in the Quarndon Church Hall.

Synopsis/plot

Set in the vibrant 1970s, this delightful comedy brings us the story of Frances and her new husband, Peter, who works as a bank manager. When Frances innocently orders some Scandinavian glassware, she accidentally receives a shipment of Scandinavian adult films instead! What follows is a whirlwind of laughter as Frances, Peter, and the flustered chief cashier, Brian, try to manage the unexpected delivery and the quirky visitors offering their unique "services." Their lives get even more chaotic with Peter’s snobbish mother, a visiting bank inspector and a police superintendent all getting involved.It’s a wonderfully entertaining farce that’ll have you chuckling from start to finish!

A Note from the Director

I am really looking forward to directing

“No Sex Please - We’re British”.

I want to retain the pace and humour of the original farce, which ran for so long in the West End, but I will try to be sensitive to modern attitudes and expectations.
