QUADS May 2009 Production - "Amy's View" by David Hare Show dates: Tues 19th May to Fri 22nd May 2009, 7.45pm start
Tickets and posters
being produced now for Amy’s View, early flyer artwork drafts are above. N.B. your tickets will be despatched as soon as they are ready, please include a stamped self-addressed envelope with your payment, thanks. QUADS April One-act play Jan's one-act will be on Friday 3rd April, 8 til 10pm. This is set in the 1940's (fancy dress encouraged!), adapted by Jan from a story by Daphne du Maurier. For QUADS members, family and friends and there will be an American supper with a small charge on the door to cover hall hire costs. There is a second one-act play on Thursday 30th July directed by Simon Carr, the cast is open to all QUADS members except those who are cast in Amy’s View. If interested, please contact Simon directly, either call/text 07968 297335 or email theanimalarkpetshop@yahoo.com QUADS Fundraiser, "Cat's Cradle" Miracle Theatre put on a great show at the hall with some fantastic effects from a projector onto a giant screen at the back of the stage. Debs and Elaine ran the bar and together with a raffle for West End theatre tickets, Live and Local show tickets, etc we raised £55 for QUADS funds. QUADS Social Programme, “Albert Nobbs”, Saturday 18th April Elaine and Debs have put together a revitalized social programme as part of the drive to recruit and retain new members. The first event is a trip to Mickleover Players who are performing 'Albert Nobbs' see www.mickleoverplayers.co.uk for details. QUADS Fundraiser, Pub Games Night Barbeque Team Events Quarndon are organising a Pub Games Night at the Joiners sometime in June, Trevor has invited QUADS to run a barbeque (equipment provided) as a fundraiser. QUADS AGM The AGM is set for Tuesday 23rd June at 8pm, please add to your diary QUADS November 2009 show: cast members Jan’s thinking about which play to direct in November, she’ll appreciate any QUADS member who is interested in performing to contact her so she can pick a play that can be cast relatively easily.
