Quartet: four one-act comedies, 12th to 15th May 2010, 7.45pm

The Box Office is open (phone Marilyn on 01332 840518) for our Spring show, from Weds 12th May to Sat 15th May 2010, a set of four one-act plays. The plays are:

The Last Bread Pudding by Nick Warburton (comedy)
The committee of an amateur drama group is meeting to discuss a new play. A clever and very entertaining comedy!

A Respectable Funeral by Jimmie Chinn (comedy)
A play in which characters gradually emerge along with skeletons in the cupboard. Three sisters gather after the funeral of their mother to clear the house. Fond reminiscence turns to more surprising revelations when their older brother unexpectedly appears...

+ two other one-act plays.
 

QUADS Quiz Night - Saturday 17th April, 7.30pm

Saturday 17th April at 7.30pm sees the return of the famous QUADS Quiz Night organised by Debs. Teams of up to four, plus there will be a Fish and Chip Supper from George’s (Debs will take orders well beforehand - please ring Debs on 01332 553875). Cost is £7 including Fish & Chip supper and there will be a raffle - if you can manage to bring anything to increase the number of prizes, that'd be great! This Quiz is open to all, not just QUADS people, so please spread the word! Pre-booking essential, if you want to come but are on your own, please let Debs know and we'll match you up with a team.

QUADS AGM - Tuesday 8th June, 8pm

This year's QUADS AGM will be on Tuesday 8th June, 8pm start, in the Lower Quarndon Village Hall, 122 Church Road, Quarndon DE22 5JA. Agenda and last year's minutes to follow closer to the date.
 

QUADS Chairman required

After a number of years now successfully leading QUADS, Marilyn has announced she wishes to stand down as Chairman at the AGM in June and the committee are looking for a replacement. The duties are not overly onerous or time-consuming. If you are interested or wish to find out more about the role please contact Marilyn (01332 840518) or any member of the committee.
